Have you checked these two Indonesian Islands off your bucket list yet?

[Note: Posting this blog again, as there were some issues with the previous one!]

Wanderlusting your heart out like me? Feel like a beach or an island? Always a beach baby, owing to growing up in thailand for the most part of life! (more on that later)

What's the first thing that comes to your mind? Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles? I am sure, but also, they are killer expensive as you would be well aware!

Here is some place where you can not only go, but also feel like you are in heaven, that too at much less cost than any luxurious beach destination you can think about! Want to know where? What if I told you, it just about an hour away from singapore by ferry? Hear hear!

These little islands known as batam and bintan (of indonesia). These 2 gems facing the south china sea look and feel nothing less our expensive island locations, honestly!

Firstly, its super easy to get there, as we have already figured out. Along with which you can freak out on the amazing water sports, adventure activities, golf courses, night life, all of it! - all soaked up beautifully in these pristine little places!

Now let's see what you shouldn't be missing out on there. Here goes:

  • Overdose on the amazing seafood and cheap beer (sounds perfect, doesn't it?)
  • They have some of the best temples around that you'd adore
  • You might want to also try clycling or motorbiking around the coast for a more local experience
  • Do not miss out the batams backwaters, they have a story to tell, listen!
  • Senggarange Village in Bintan is definitely not to be missed!
  • Feel like trying something exciting? Bintan's snake river temple, might just be it! go there to believe it!
  • Other than these ofcourse how can you forget to sunbathe and take a dip in the clear waters of these islands and go crazy with the pictures!
