Feel a little image consultanty today! A fashion post? Let's do that, but maybe in a little bit of a technical manner. I was thinking how about patterns?
Patterns - there are so many different kind of patterns, floral, abstract, stripes, etc - the list is endless. We all have our own choices when it comes to those, we like different patterns, that might feel like us of different sizes and even styles.
However, they might be pretty complicated when it comes to making sure you get the right ones on for you. So let's try and make sense of patterns, how you can use them. People are often confused how to use patterns and where to place highlight on, which is pretty understandable, which is why professionals like us are here to help out.

Firstly, you need to make sure to carry out the right patterns and sizes of those based on your body size/shape so that they appear more flattering. Moreover, these can also depict the mood or theme that you are trying to go for. Like for instance in the below picture, I paired a plain tank top with a printed floral trouser just for a casual coffee outing. The highlight is definitely the bottom, coz of the pattern and color. It is important to make sure that there aren't too many things happening, that's where the secret lies.
Ok here goes one more example, this was a retro theme dressup day at work (ignore the fact that I look like a candy), but if I look at it from a pattern view, the polka dots are slightly big for body size. For it to be right for my size, it dots should have been smaller technically. Do you see where it is going?
Also, there is something called pattern mixing, which can work wonders if done right. You need to ensure there isn't there is too many things coming in the way of focus. For instance, for a formal pattern mixing you could try a polka dot top and a pin stripe pencil skirt and plain pumps. Understanding?
We can go into way more detail, but that might be too much and seem like a chapter out of book, hope you guys got the gist of it. Do let me know.
P.S. What fashion posts would you like to see? I think we can go about every aspect, such as lines, textures, body shape, personal style if not? How does that sound? My original plan was to bring out videos on these topics, will work on the same when I can steal some time from the daily hustle. Let's see how we can fare that out in the coming days.
