Hey all,
Just a quick short read to get you going towards the second half of the week. Now that everyone is back to work and fully into the first month of the new year/decade, I thought to start with a topic which resonates with each on us in some way.
Hope! What is hope? We all talk about it or use it like a
zillion times over the years. Hope you are doing well, hope you have a good
day, but what exactly is this hope? Did we ever stop to think about it in-depth?
So how does hope actually work? It’s no magic and does not
provide any real solutions (like what were you expecting?), but it does make
you come to a frame of mind, which is positive and help you deal with
situations in a better manner. It is more like a medicine, catalyst, trigger and stimulant for the things we do and a good one at that. Sometimes I feel like humanity is based on hope in some way or the other, if you think about it closely. There is hope involved in everything we do, even the most basic of our daily chores, we work with a hope to a better life for example and such.
Hope is a very strong word and one my favourite words ever
invented to be honest. In the world full of hate, disappointment and all things bad, I think it is important that we believe in hope, there has to be something for us to hang on to, something that we can hold as a rope to come out of hole that we often get engulfed in. I guess that is why we use the world nearly in our everyday, but I 'hope' instead of just using it as a word, give it some thought and consciously implement it life in the bigger sense.
Life is difficult? Oh it is always going to be difficult no matter what, that is how it was designed, but it is up to us to live it in a way. We all go through stuff in life, but what pulls us out of it, is ‘hope’ is the thing that pulls us out of it or gives us the courage to do so. It helps us understand and cope with the fact that you are what makes you or breaks you, only you can be there for yourself, that is the beauty of hope. It is and was all that the world ever needs to survive. But we humans are no less, we are so stubborn that we don’t even let hope be, so here is to undying hope for the new decade and humanity!
P.S.
A little secret, just a couple of days ago I got a new tattoo (yes I know, super exciting) and it represents hope! Yesss!!! This
emotion, feeling or vibe, whatever we call it that stayed with me for a while and would
believe is one of the reasons I keep on going in life.

Do not hold back what is in your mind. I would love to hear it.
